The Toast 5 Titanium suite is now fully Carbonized for Mac OS X. All applications in the suite, including Toast 5 Titanium®, CD Spin Doctor®, iView Media™, Panic® Audion®, and Magic Mouse Discus™, are available for immediate download.

The updates are FREE to all registered users of Toast 5 Titanium. If you haven’t already registered your product at roxio.com, please click here.
Here’s what’s included in the update:
Toast 5 Titanium: Program for burning data, audio, multimedia, video and hybrid Mac/PC CDs or DVDs on Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X. Even burn discs in the background while you continue to work! Supports virtually all USB, IDE, SCSI and FireWire CD recorders. Ensures compatibility with other Roxio Macintosh® software.

System requirements are Mac OS 9.1 or later, or Mac OS X version 10.1.2 or later. Please note that the updates will not install on a machine where Toast 5 Titanium is not present.

i think these updates are still posted here: http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/toast/software_updatesv5.html but for some reason all the download links are removed

Update Toast 5.2.1 Titanium or later to 5.2.3 (compatible with Mac OS 9.1 and higher, including Mac OS X v10.3 )

Toast 5.2.3 Titanium enables the Buffer Underrun Prevention option for combination DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW recorders when using -R/RW media. Buffer Underrun Prevention is not an option when using +R/RW media, since the recorder uses the built-in error prevention that is part of the +R/RW specification. This updater is intended to address buffer underrun prevention problems with certain DVD recorders and is not cumulative with the Toast 5.2.1 updater. Roxio recommends that Toast 5.2.1 be applied prior to this update.
so from reading the info on this update..
this update is really for owners of DVD±RW drives (combination of + & - types)
to be able to have greater error protection when using DVD-R/RW (-) type media
if any of u have ever had buffer unnderrun errors when making cds... this was the reason!!
(definately happened to me many times years ago!)
