I'll start...
Think I might just have to adopt “Tucker & Dale vs. Evil”
as my new, mandatory, anti-sappy Christmas movie.
After finishing compulsory Christmas, vehicle repair tasks.
(This year, front wheel bearings.) Yay!
Merry Christmas y’all.
If you've not seen this, best not to watch this preview.
Just dive right in. (More utter surprises that way.) :o

I'm sure forum moderator DieHard has an answer for you ;)
My recommendation is Ingmar Bergman's "Fanny och Alexander" in the 5-hour version. A beautiful film, plus you can brush up on your Swedish.

It was just this year that I discovered Elf and our family watched it last week. I think it's a nice Christmas movie for all ages. A light-hearted comedy that lets you forget everything for a good hour. Kids liked it too. Here's a Quicktime trailer (http://www.cornica.org/movies/elf/).
There's also the "classics" like Home Alone, National Lampoon's Christmas, Wonderful Life etc. but I'm sure everyone has seen them by now, so no recommendation necessary.
Merry Christmas everyone!
