found another sata pci card
« on: February 09, 2015, 07:28:25 AM »

2 ports external sata (similar to http://www.firmtek.com/seritek/seritek-1se2/)

https://www.lacie.com/ca/support/support_manifest.htm?id=10331

https://www.lacie.com/download/datasheet/pci_esata_sismo_en.pdf

it says 10.5 + 10.6 for mac requirements but .. im not so sure that is 100% true

looking closer:
https://www.lacie.com/ca/support/faq/faq.htm?faqid=10629

here it says 10.3 is the requirement
90% sure this will not boot in mac os 9..
but it probably works for data drives..
and perhaps is flashable? depending on size of rom

The main point is to find out if it is based on a main chip for which we have a Mac Os 9 ROM (like the SiL3112 chip). And second identify the EEPROM.
Here we have a better picture:

but I can't identify the main chip. But it isn't a SiL for sure.
