I found out that makers of instrument gave editors for Mac OS 9 with CD-ROM with instruments:
Akai:
UniQuest EWI4000s

Roland:
UniQuest/VC-1
UniQuest V-Synth

Is there anything else?

there are losta sounddiver OEMs, for example for virus indigo. but never seen any uniquest. :)
