Title: CodeWarrior annoiance
Post by: OS923 on October 16, 2020, 11:07:04 AM
When CodeWarrior starts it mounts one of my volumes. It happens with CW Pro 5 and 6. How can I stop this?

Appearance keeps an alias to the desktop picture. When CodeWarrior starts, it forces Appearance somehow to reload the desktop picture. This causes the alias manager to resolve the alias to the desktop picture. This causes the volume with the desktop picture to be mounted.

Solution: the desktop picture has to be on a volume that is always mounted, like the startup disk or on the volume that contains CodeWarrior.

Thanks for documenting the solution.
