I can easily find the downloads for OS X, but nothing for OS 9 seems to be out there. I can't format Zip disks in my Pismo under OS 9; I can only do it in Tiger where support is built-in. I found a link to version 3.5 on Macintosh Garden but the Tools don't seem to work under 9.2.2.
Anyone know where I can find a download for this?

i had a similar problem recently trying to find this iomega driver for an old zip100plus drive for use with my 1995 performa 5200cd.
it took me a long time to find the files i needed to make it work but once i did it worked fine. i dont have that mac plugged in nor do i remember where i finally found the file! but let me think...
i think i may have found it buried in another cd like a protools install cd or something? or an m-audio installer cd buried in the sub-folders

Thanks, but that is also version 3.5. I'm specifically looking for version 4.0.2.

try this
What's New In This Version?:
OS X Native Tools Application
'Check for Iomega Updates' Feature To Check For The Latest IomegaWare Updates
Access To Help Files Through Contextual Menu
Iomega Zip 750MB Drive Support
do u have a ZIP 750 Drive??
hmm this is supported under mac os 9?? never knew there was a 750mb zip ;)

No 750, but a 250.
Maybe I am having a different problem, but the 3.5 version will not allow me to format Zip disks. I can read them but not format. And the version of Tools in the 3.5 package leaves everything in grey and unselectable. I figured trying another version might help.
Also, almost all the download links to it eventually take you to the now defunct Iomega site.

Most of the links are to the OS X only version, or links to the old Iomega site which no longer works.
That said, I've resolved my problem. I had an epiphany this morning, remembering that I have Intech's Hard Disk Speedtools suite installed on this Pismo, and included removable cartridge support. I wondered if that is getting in the way of the Iomega utility to control the Zip drive. So I went into Extensions Manager, disabled the HDST Extension for removable cartridges and rebooted. Now working fine with the 3.5 version of Iomegaware.
Mean culpable.
Thanks for the assistance -- reading the exchange helped me think all this through. As much as I can be nostalgic for the look and feel of the Mac pre-OS X, troubleshooting extension conflicts isn't among the sources of nostalgia. :)
