Title: Something like Liitle Snitch for OS 9
Post by: torvan on June 15, 2016, 11:47:34 AM
Okay, I use Little Snitch for my Mac Pro and my Mac Mini and my Macbook Pro--all running El Capitan.

But my Quicksilver 2002 is running only OS 9.2.2, and I am looking for something like Little Snitch for OS9. Any ideas?

Basically I want to block "phoning home" and other such undesirable behavior.

Maybe we can start to making a list of "phoning home" apps in Mac Os 9.

I only know some Adobe apps, mainly Photoshop, and it is easily to disable.

Here is IPNetMonitor....I think this is what you are looking for.  After install, enable the monitor in the Window menu.

if you are really concerned about it isnt it easy enough to just keep your mac os 9 machine on a private subnet that doesnt access the internet at all?
