Excuse my cubase ignorance... What are the differences, aside the OS and the bundled plugs?

Also, it seem a post-10.5 mac on the background with T-racks... Or is a monitor hooked to the Ibook with a 10.6 desktop background?

If he is your friend, tell him to put the voice on 229 bar on tune. Maybe is the smartphone camera, but to my ears it sounds out of tune.

im not about to tell him anything lol

the point isnt how good cubase sx is..
the point is how well this guy uses cubase...
tons + tons of layers.. etc

obviously he could do the same with mac os 9..
but again, he knows what hes doing
some people here said that cubase sx sucks.. (because it was a rewrite of the original app etc)
im just posting to say.. hold on a minute..
people use this thing anyway. and it makes music..everyday..
since it was made..
its worked for him for many many years and hes still using it!

some "judgements" + "perspectives" are "premature" + not "all encompassing"
just because someone else thinks a software is not so great.. chances are - that person
never mastered that software.. and someone else has.. and uses it to great effect!

Don't know anything about Cubase but planning on trying it ( ala DieHard) on the Alu G4 PowerBook 1Ghz that I 'OS-9ed'.

In that video your buddy seems to have a fair amount of stuff going on... Do you know which G4 laptop he uses?

Also... I'm kinda 'out of the loop' (pun intended ;D) on the whole 'simulated instrument' thing, but I thought that the 'trumpet' sounded pretty damn cool! If that's 'fake' then I'm quite impressed!! Some tasteful keyboard 'tinkles' too!! ;D

its either a 800mhz or 1ghz g4 laptop.
im still amazed he uses that because its like 10 years old lol
