heres a great app for mac os 9 to convert the "Picture 1" screen grabs from the default format
(Which is '.pict' or '.pct' format)
to any other format!

does anyone have this app cracked/registered?
or perhaps an older version even? i dont care if its the latest version just to use it to convert screen captures to gif/jpg
im assuming there is no other trick to change mac os 9 default image capture format from .pict to .jpg

There's a droplet script for converting PICT files to JPEGS via Graphic Converter in amongst the AppleScript files on the lemkesoft website, attached here in case it's useful.
I run it under 9.2.2 with Graphic Converter Classic 6.5.
