I’ve been adding quite a few additional applications to my 9.2.2 machine recently and would like to perform a virus sweep just to check for any nasties I may have inadvertently introduced.
What is generally regarded as the most reliable / up-to-date virus checking software for OS 9.2.2?

Virex 6.1 with the virus definitions from 2007

Sorry, there is the version 6.2.1. from 2004, which seems to be the very latest one. Even if some say it is crippled compared to 6.1 it may be of interrest. Edit: but I cannot find it anywhere.
BTW I once had to struggle with the SevenDust aka 666 virus, and the only possibility how I got rid of it was to let Virex scan, and than when it said "cleaned" do nothing but switching off the power hard. As soon as I closed Virex or shut down Mac OS the Virus wrote itselve from RAM into the Virex application and/or System Folder again. But perhaps this was with an earlier virus definition around 2005?

I have Norton Antivirus 7.0.2 which has virus defs from 1/12/01, do you know where I can update these?
