Maybe this is a little off-topic. Back in the logic 3.x days I was a PC user. I bought an guillemot Isis that came with Logic Audio Pro Isis version 3.6 . It was a 16 audiotracks and the synth from the soundcard was integrated and up to 36 mb sampler via ram expansions. 4 stereo buses and 2 stereo masters. It even had dsp from the Isis to make chorus, flangers eq, (?) ; but inserts were only direct x compatible (no VST). But last time I tested waves mercury 5 it worked most of them as directx but SSL.
I tested logic 3.5 gold 4.5 and 5 platinum for pc. I kept recording on Logic Pro Isis 3.6 and mixing on a cracked 4.5 and later with a terratec dmx6fire2496 on logic 5.5.1 . I remember that was a good idea to install cubase to use logic, because cubase made Asio drivers for most soundcards. Asio 1.0 and 2.0 if you installed Sx (from memory).
My mac friends were still using cracked 4.x version while win users had 5.x cracked.
Most of masterclass about looping, mixing and producing I recieved back on the days were on logic 4.5 mac.
The envy of having 5.x working on pc made a lot mac users to buy an emagic license...
That's the reason I have a dongle now!
