this is a direct link to download the driver that nickmt had success with for the keyspan usa-28x usb-serial adapter, this driver is only for the specific usa-28x version with two ports "twin"

this device can be used instead of a stealth port for connectivity to serial midi devices from motu, opcode, etc

Cool, I just ordered one of these bad boys. Got a couple G4s just collecting dust that I might be able to give a life ;)

One oddity you may or may not run into…the USA extension will sometimes hang at startup due to other activity on the USB buss. This is rare but can drive you nuts until you figure it out. For example, my Epson printer (which is in a different USB port then the Keyspan) must nevertheless be turned off during startup. Why? Who knows, but it happens.

thanks for the heads up, I'll make sure to clean out unused extensions. Don't expect to be using them for anything else than MIDI.
