looks like it was planned for release in january of 2003 but wasnt actually released until april of 2003 http://web.archive.org/web/20030818040706/http://www.t-racks.com/Main.html?TRNews

still find it hard to believe this hasnt surfaced yet!!!
... and will be harder to find each passing day :'( ...

I have faith I think this will turn up if we keep focus on it
It was a very popular software package one that was very well known
-
it was ilok protected so unless there was a vintage crack we need the resettable demo but even back then
they only send out demos to registered users so. im pretty certain this is lost forever.
even if you had a retail box, there still was the registration card with code thingy.
-
not ilok. and it is here.
-
does this one work? - not tested by myself...

HTDM RTAS VST
i since I posted came across the VST on oldschooldaw myself, we had RTAS here once, looking for this
thanks for posting, there was a keygen attached to the VST which was an empty zip, thats why i didnt bother to try the VST on itself. as it appeared to be a demo without keygen.
if anyone still has the RTAS before it disappeared with adrive, please share thank you and happy new year!

Maybe I'm just blind, but I don't see the standalone version here anymore either.
So, in case I'm right, here it is. Fully functional. Maybe someone will add it to downloads…?

i tried to gather a bit of a mac os 8/9 release history and this is what i came up with.
1999-01-28 - T-RackS 1.0 for Mac OS 7.5+, Win (Jan 28, 1999)
- The Mac Power PC version has an ADB (round) key, while the iMacG3G4 has a USB (flat) key
- For both PC and Macintosh, T-RackS supports 16 bit files only
1999-01-28 - T-RackS® 1.1 for BeOS
- You don't need the dongle key in BeOS
2001-02-05 - T-RackS 24 1.0 for Mac & PC (Feb 5, 2001)
- 24 bit file support
2001-10-23 - T-RackS 24 2.0 (Oct 23, 2001)
- By popular demand, the new T-RackS® 24 is now dongle-free
2001-11-13 - NEW T-RackS® 24 Patch 2.0.4 for MAC/WIN!!!
2002-01 - T-RackS VST and DX (Jan 2002)
2002-02 - T-RackS 1.0 RTAS Plug-In and AmpliTube RTAS plug-ins for ProTools® 6 on Mac OS X available
2002-11-11 - T-RackS HTDM plug-in for ProTools Mix and HD systems for MacOS (Nov 11, 2002)
- Registered RTAS users can freely download it in the user area
2004-01-00 - T-RackS Audio Units and VST on MacOS X (Jan, 2004)
2004-06-30 - T-RackS 24 for MacOS X (Jun 30, 2004)

Maybe I'm just blind, but I don't see the standalone version here anymore either.
so let me update my statement to: "they should be here".
there is only one way to get the OS9 version to work: the demo versions for VST OS9 are on the OSX PPC CD, and DH found out that you activate them work using the amplitube OSX KG.
they are nothing special, but i think they look really cute as plug-ins! :)

DSP code is not a matter of opinion.
i always thought it was clever marketing to start out with an unusable standalone application to make it look more interesting. :P

you took a deep dive into the dsp? and you decided its nothing special?

interesting! - which exact " OSX PPC CD" do you mention?

WTF ?? I said STANDALONE… as in self-running app. It was intended as a simple mastering tool. It opens a file and provides the basic processes to optimize and polish up the mix.
The fact that everybody decided they had to have it in VST/RTAS/TDM etc. form seems to show that no matter what it does, it's not enough.
How can anyone be expected to properly master a mix without the simultaneous use of at least a dozen comps, EQ's, imagers and other spit-polishers?
I mean, that would suggest that just maybe the mix wasn't all that great to begin with…
-
o.O dont hold back let it all out
-
i'm probably the only one still using OS9.. in love with this system.. can anyone who has TDM T-Racks post them here? Thanks in advance :)
-
yes on a forum dedicated to os9 you sure are the only one :)

WTF ?? I said STANDALONE
you said EITHER, and the plug-ins is what someones question and the board and the thread was about.
i think i might have pulled the keygen after it created false alarm in antivirus - or can someone find it back? there must be another t-racks thread somewhere where everything was already solved.
-

i cant help but for filters i usually measure them through. it can be very enlightening about a lot of things. :)

Ohforcryinoutloudman…
After looking around for things T-Racks I noticed that even the standalone was missing too so I thought maybe it should be replaced - and that's exactly what I said.
Just for you, let me rephrase: "Maybe I'm just blind, but neither do I see the standalone version here as well."
Is English your 3rd language? Or is it just that no good deed goes unpunished by 110? 'Scuse me for trying to be helpful.
Go take a Xanax man.

Haha!! ;D

in the meantime i tracked down the original box of v1. complete with dongle. pics to follow once its here. 5 eur . good times.

I have the stand alone version with the 'registration card code thingy' from back in the day and got the RTAS version from this site at some point.

The T-Racks for os9 used in Tcworks spark XL 2.8, work perfectly well for me, they process at 24 bit internally and 24-bit recordings also improve them, the compressor does its job well in sound design tasks or final mastring, similar sound or very similar to a bombfactory 1176, the limiter is warmer than the ones that each version of pro tools brings with its digiracks.
the equalizer is not impressive, but it can brighten up a dull sound, the low frequencies work like a logic audio equalizer, the mids are not good and I never play them, treble is very good for hi-hat, details of reverb.
work better than free plugins and shareware, some crap accumulated in warez collections just don't react.
This version of T-racks has arguably one of the best compressors for drum loops, and the EQ might not be as good as Digital Performer's 4-band EQ, but it can give McDSP may not be as good as expected.
I'm using them a lot now for 24-bit audio processing.
in the recordings they are very light with the CPU.
I also use them in ableton live 1.0 which is only for audio and I use it as an alternative to what was at the time Acid Pro 2, it really is great for making arrangements and audio montages, I like them because of how well they work and how light they are They are.

The T-Racks for os9 used in Tcworks spark XL 2.8
1) I am assuming you are using the T-racks VST versions as plugins in spark ?
2) If so, are they registered or cracked versions ?
-
Well there was a spark xl for tdm
-
has anyone found the tdm t-racks? can you please post them?...

Yes, in fact it is on the 4 GB compilation CD that is on the macintosh repository website in the collections and compilations section. :)

Hey Jeff, some members have asked for this and we lost it a while back, is it small enough to post as an attachment ? Directions... ?
Thanks

TRacks VST was also offered by cyberish last december.
It is TRacks RTAS and HDTM what is missing.
GaryN posted the Standalone IIRC.
-
I don't know if you shared before or not, but version 2.5.1 is standalone, it works as a full screen standalone program.
All the files are in this massive collection of software for mac os9.
