I know, I know, it's sacrilege to take a perfectly fine 9 booting Mac and run Windows on it, however........
I picked up a 2nd Gen Slot-Load iMac G3(Blueberry) and a Quicksilver G4 on craigslist for a $25 spot. They both worked, however I have lots of PPC machines, that mostly go unused because I need to be able to use the Web and Email on the Computers I do most of my work on and PPC is well past it's hey day when it comes to running OS X Mail and Safari.
I love the old Jony Ive designs, I just need them to be more moddern as far as the internals. So hack away I did, made a PC case out of the Quicksilver for my son with some help from The Laser Hive:

Also I had on old PC motherboard with a Core2 E6850 and a 14.1" LCD from a dead iBook G4, so I did a conversion on the old Slot Loader iMac.
Both really turned out well, tho I've still got some odds and ends to clean up on the iMac .
To be fair, and before I'm burned at the stake for killing two Mac's and installing Windows 10 on them, I did install OS X El Capitan on the iMac, but I had to let my son use the Video card in his machine, as his died, while I'm getting him a replacement.
BTW, if anyone has a R9 280x or 290x they would let go reasonable PM me.
Pictures upon request.

Very cool site. I will be reading the whole site this weekend !
I new customer brought in a Hacintosh which was a modified G5 Case spray painted black and it was a very botched job, Back IO plate was not aligned, Fans were unmounted and just laying all over the place, crappy paint job... this was a cool idea, but not well implemented. The laserhive site looks pro :)

I don't think I could do it with hardware that was still functional, but otherwise I like the idea. I have a semi-dead G5 I picked up for $5 a while back that I haven't had the time or information to try and properly restore to functionality, and I wouldn't mind someday turning it into a hackintosh if I can wrap my head around it - and budget accordingly.
