How can I convert a new world .mov to work with Mac OS 9 ? I'm looking to do the conversion on either side...
-
OS9 supports max. H263

alright, thx. I'm a newbie in video matters. - What app let me choose to save a video with the H.263 codec. - Can I run such an app on Intel OS X or is this PPC OSX only?

Quicktime (not Quicktime player) both PPC and Intel versions. Has somebody collected another codecs for PPC versions, there was Quicktime components download page for that?

Use Quicktime Pro for the conversion + Sorenson codec. That's what I use at Cornica when I have to convert media.

but then dont mix up sorenson spark and sorenson video, because the latter has nothing to do with mpeg and looks terrible. ;)

Fine but I can't see the Sorensen Codec in my Quick Time Pro 7.6.6 ?!?

i think s. spark installs with flash 6+
but if you use normal H263 (spark is also H263) you still get proper results.
