Hi!
I really want a 1.8ghz Sonnet MDX (as everyone else I guess) and am looking to trade my overclocked (from 1.58ghz to 1.67ghz) MDX plus my original Dual 1.25ghz MDD CPU overclocked to 1.5ghz for one 1.8ghz Sonnet MDX.
I can perhaps put some money in between as well.

Anyone? I can throw in some Pro Tools stuff and whatnot as well.

I have looked more or less constantly for one of these for a while now (and bugged some of you on the forum as well, sorry for that).
Giving this one last change, I found some Mac stuff I can through in as a trade or a part trade for a 1.8ghz Sonnet Encore MDX module.
Some off the stuff up for trade:
*PowerBook G4 1.67ghz 17" - 768mb RAM, AirPort, Bluetooth, 40gb HD, working optical drive
*PowerBook G4 867mhz with 1gb RAM. Boots up to open firmware for some reason, don't know why
*PowerMac 9500 with a Sonnet G3 (unknown frequency) upgrade and PCI USB card
*Sonnet Encore MDX overclocked from 1.58ghz to 1.67ghz (mentioned in the post above)
*Xserve G5 with 5gb RAM and two 80gb HDs in RAID0
I don't think I want to trade everything in a lot for a 1.8ghz MDX, but damn near everything plus some money ;)
PM me if you have a 1.8ghz MDX and are willing to make a trade, part trade or just want to sell it!

I feel for you Knez. At this rate, you'll soon be throwing in family heirlooms and a puppy.
FWIW, I got mine by running a constant ebay search with email notification. It took a few months but one day I just woke up and it was there!
Patience and persistence get you there eventually.

... (as everyone else I guess) ...
May be you expect too much from the MDX 1.8. I Don't.
I really love the most powerful Mac Os 9 machines, I have some of them ... 8)
My sawtooth upgraded with the 7448 at 2.0 Ghz is one of the fastest Mac Os 9 machines, but you should believe me if I tell you that I only have used it for testing purpose. :o The MDD with the single xServe 1.33 CPU (overcloked to 1.5), the nVidia Ti and the Seriteck 64 bits -even a bit slower in the tests- feel a lot of more fast and powerfull. So the MDX 1.8 is not on to my main interest, the 7447 is not a good choice IMHO ...
