Title: My G4 Digital Audio upgrades
Post by: Protools5LEGuy on February 04, 2015, 03:45:41 PM
This is my way of improving air flow on a original DA 466 with a CPU daughter board G4 GHz Dual from a QS'02.

The "only" (aside 128Gig limit'of'drives) difference DA vs QS is QS have a small fan. I used the bigger fan I could get inside. I even had to cut a corner of the fan for the box to close!  ;D

The fan forces airflow in the PSU and CD Bays too!

By the way, I just upgraded the graphic card from the original 4X AGP ATI Rage 128 Pro graphics card with 16 MB of SDRAM to a  NVIDIA GeForce4 MX with DVI and ADC.
