OS 9 ScreenSavers and other goodies...
« on: April 09, 2014, 11:47:38 AM »
Can't seem to find any OS 9 ScreenSavers, and many other OS 9 candy like software. For example, Apple's appearance had more than one Theme. All I've got now is Apple's platinum, Aqua (2 different versions), or the sound sets ( I've just got platinum). I recall at least a half a dozen.

Anyone.

Is there an a web site (s) that have a collection of OS 9 software ?
LC520(my first iMac @ 25 MHz ), 8500/SonnetG4, Performa6360, QuickSilver PowerPC G4 ( 933MHz ), iMac PowerPC G3 500 MHz ,iMac @ 3.06 GHz, AND a plethora of midi/audio/recording gear and software and oh! let's not forget all those acoustical music instruments

Have these installed:
3D Morphing Power Cube 2.0
DarkSide of the Mac 5.0.6
Maya PFX ScreenSaver
Marine Aquarium 2
Have many CDs of OS 9 software, used to collect anything I could get. Now more selective.

It is good, but since it is the free version you only get three fish at a time. Has Day/Night/bubbles/detailed coral/sound. I get 90-95 fps.

Should clarify, that is running 'windowed' not full screen, which increases the fps, goes up to 110 - 120fps.
