He said that the "normal" way of using plugins in Pro Tools 6.x back in the day without an iLok was with an iLok emulator and a trial license resetter.
That is the way I use them in 10.3.9 with LE systems.
There is two ways to do it. Using the trial license resetter every 7-15 days
or clonning a system every 7-15 days and install all plugs over again.
Some people love ilok reseters and some hate 'em and swear that it screws hard drives (?).
Cloning is quick with Carbon Copy Clonner / Superdupper / Disk Utility if you are afraid of using ilok reseters.
For me installing Waves+Oxford+Others take less that 1 hour, so...
I use the blue ilok resetter, that makes you logout when you click and it works with Oxford just fine. Cant remember if it worked also with Waves...
There is a "Tiger" resetter "Panther" compatible also, that come with hacked "tiger" waves
