Everything isn't working because I did something to my extensions folder.

Hello all--
I don't remember exactly what I did, but I moved my extensions folder to desktop and then put an extension file inside it. I don't know what happened, but this changed the resolution of the computer, and any application I try opening will now show an error message saying that a certain essential file doesn't exist. What do I need to do to restore the extensions folder to its normal state?

GaryN:
You could start by putting the Extensions Folder back inside the System Folder which is where the System looks for it.
IIO:
about 70% of the folders and files in the system folder need to have a certain name and need to be right there, just as in OSX or windows.
only the system folder itself may be renamed and moved to whereever you wish. :)

Thanks guys, works now.
