Can't find a simple patch/program changing Application for OS X High Sierra

OK, I am going to stray way off topic here, but at this point I am desperate.  Logic Pro X has some serious issues with patch changing on external synths... so

Does anyone know of a simple application that can send MIDI bank/program changed to external Synths (kinda like OMS for OS X);

I do NOT want to send Sysex patch info., I just want to audition sounds without manually turning the data wheels on my roland rack stuff, so a simple MIDI patch/program change app is what I need for OS X 10.13

I already created all synths in the Logic environment, with all banks and patches for (2) JV880s, (1) XV-5050, and (2) U22s; the issue is Logic is very buggy these days (ver 10.3.x and 10.4.x) and even simple things like muting and solo-ing external MIDI devices have issues.  However, the logic "external plugin" with auto audio routing works almost perfectly, but you do not have the choice for program changes when using it... so I need a separate app to do my program changes.  I found an app called "Pocket MIDI" that looks promising, but I really need one that I can make custom patch names, not just program numbers, but I will try pocket MIDI tonight as a test

bank select can be a bitch, there are dozens of ways how you need to do it for certain instruments. but program change is in theory nothing special.

these are kind of awesome.
you can map any thing to anywhere
then it remembers whole setups as scrollable presets
it even has a screen that labels above the knobs and faders so you can walk away for 6 months
and not have to remember where the cutoff threshold is.

i have the 3-octave keyboard version of this thing, in addition to an x-station. Personally I feel the x-station is better for synth mapping due to the skeuomorphic nature of its design, but the SL range has a more robust MIDI control feature set. Ive read that they can play nice with Roland's freakshow realtime sysex-as-cc scheme, but I've never had time to try it out. bought a house about two years ago and just getting the house good and my studio set up to begin with has been consuming most of my time.
