I have a 6360 with 9200 Radion. Brand new in box. The system has a L2 cache G3 240 MHz upgrade card, 128 MB of ram, TV tuner and Video in out card, DVD ROM drive, 256 gig dram SSD, running Macos 9.2.2
Without the video card, the system starts up and loads the G3 card extension. The extension is the first thing to load, when it does this the computer reboots in a soft manner so there is no chime. The computer then boots up using the G3 card instead of the 603ev on the board.
I installed the drivers off the included CD, the computer then starts up with the video card to the point where the G3 expansion card extension loads. At that point the display stops functioning, it doesn't shut off but it displays of Frozen image. The computer meanwhile is still starting up again but not updating the video coming out of the card.
If you plug a monitor into the Onboard video of the computer, you just get some vertical bars. No display. If you start up with a dongle plugged into the onboard card and the monitor plugged into the 9200, you get a Mac OS desktop but you can't get your mouse on to it. So it's like a second display that isn't acknowledged by the computer. It does change however from the frozen screen before to the blank desktop background
System profiler shows the card name as PCI 1002, 5960. Card vendor ID of 1002 and no other information available
I'm not sure what my next step should be to troubleshoot this
