Clone a real disk to be used in QEMU
« on: March 10, 2022, 01:43:39 AM »
Hi,

I have just bought the original Imac G3 233.
It is now in 9.2.2 on its original hdd. I would like to save it as a bootable image for Qemu.
How should I proceed?

Is it as simple as?
- format a usb stick in HFS
- drag the hdd content to the usb root ... or should I use a specific tool. If so which one? I could not find Disk util/Disk Copy on my current installation :-(
- make an image of the usb stick (Linux)
- boot the image with Qemu

Thx
