What I love from the videos is the "Apple Desktop" concept for a Win 98 user (from that age).
Lots of errors as no PRAM / CUDA resets, try to use a nVidia Quadro for OS9, etc, but with determination he ends up mounting 2 of 3 G3.
By the way, on serial box there are more modern serials for v. 4 on Infini-D
OS 9 has Quadro drivers for at least the Quadro 900 XGL, but I doubt they have any of the Quadro specific features that would be enabled in rendering.
OS X also has Quadro drivers, years ago I compiled SpecViewPerf 8 on PPC to test them, but sadly the rendering was not any faster than a GeForce card. Tho Stereo 3D was enabled for cards with the Mini DIN.
Years later, I compiled SpecViewPerf when Mac's started shipping with FireGL cards, sadly not any faster rendering than Radeon cards, and still no improvement with Quadro vs Geforce. Because these were Intel Mac's I was able to test with Windows and Linux with proper FireGL and Quadro support, and on the same hardware they rendered much faster, as we would expect.
So the specific features used by SpecViewPerf on workstation hardware was just never enabled in the drivers for OS X.
