I tested today the two SeaTools .ISO versions available here
https://www.seagate.com/it/it/support/downloads/seatools/seatools-legacy-support-master/
but I had no luck on two different systems :
PPC G4 MDD, Mac OS 9.2.2 and VPC 6 with Win XP SP3;

Because you tested DOS version in WinXP. And as I said SeaTools DOS version cannot see USB-boxes.
My Xp update succestions was for Seatools Windows version, because that can see USB-boxes at VPC.
WinXP version found there: https://www.seagate.com/gb/en/support/downloads/seatools/seatools-win-master/

I had already tested the Seatools for Win app but it didn't work.
The User Guide, available here
https://www.seagate.com/files/www-content/support-content/downloads/seatools/_shared/downloads/pdf/SeaTools-for-windows-en-us.pdf
doesn't give any option to 'Set Capacity to Max Native' like the Dos version.
Anyway I didn't try a 'Long Generic Test', only a 'Short' one.

I have a free, un-used, 500GB Western Digital IDE/ATA if you want to pay shipping... it's killing to watch this unfold :(

Thank you DieHard for the offer, I don't need another HD as I'm already full of SSD, ATA and SCSI too HDs.
I bought the Seagate 200GB only as stock and it was cheap (about $ 20).
Thanks again :)
