Sorry, but we don't need any "Os X guy" around here...
It can be mainly  a headache...
Please don't PM about things that are not private.

Of course I welcome everybody! But I have to tentative agree to MacTron. The improper blending of Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X is one of our biggest problems. People simply do not get that it is about completely different Operating Systmes! In several forums you get answers for Mac OS X 10.9 for some years now, and the ongoing idea that everybody is using X as well is a permanent showstopper for 20 years now (think about sitx and others). Even Macintoshgarden has some X software online now, ...

Hi JoyBed!

It is not about "OS X guy hate" but the other way round. If you are seriously using Mac OS 9 you have to struggle for 17 or 18 years now. People started telling you that there is no multitasking in Mac OS 9 and other Apple marketing crap, like that more modern computers simply cannot use 9 (what is for some years now as well proven to be wrong). Later it advanced to the "information" at every question one had about Mac OS 9 that "Mac OS 9 is crap and one should switch to X".
The paradigm always was:

Q: I am searching for some special Coffee
A: Coffee is crap, you should not drink it at all, switch to Tea, it is much better

And that is just annoying after soon 2 decades. We even had such people in this forum, what is simply misplaced. Another problem is that people are permanentely asking for X and Classic for example. So we ongoingly have to defend Mac OS 9 and explain that the problems are from Mac OS X and the emulation Classic, … you see the point? Nothing personal of course and a warm welcome!

All PowerPC hardware users are welcome even MorphOS users. We are on the same boat ( or escape capsule :) ).
I have learned something from 8-bit guys, you never know what user can be in next 20 years for our platform.

Welcome JoyBed! And I have little different Java questions  ;) : http://macos9lives.com/smforum/index.php/topic,5672.0.html
