What is it?
lokTrasher is a small utility for Mac OSX that removes redundant files that are put on your hard disk by tools suchs as iLok and PACE anti-piracy. It does the following:

- clears directories out of /TheVolumeSettingsFolder/HFSExtentTables/
- clears the Desktop database files
- performs a logout

Note that these files will be irreversably deleted, the cannot be retrieved from the Trash Can.

Why use it?
You can use this utility to save space on your hard drive.

How to use it
Simply click on the Trash button. If you are not an administrator, lokTrasher will ask for your administrator password. After that you have to re-login for the changes to take effect. Click "Logout" to quit all applications and logout. Or click "Just quit" to quit lokTrasher.

If you decide to "Just quit", remember your changes will only take effect after you reboot or re-login.

System requirements
lokTrasher runs on Mac OSX 10.2.7. or higher.

1. Repair your permissions using Disk Utility
2. Run iLok Tiger Reset 0.3.2, enter your admin password and click RESET
3. Reboot
4. Run InterLok Extensions Install 5.3
5. Enjoy!

Works with Waves 5.2 + L3.

If for some strange reason your Waves plugins are not reseted, try searching for weird-named hidden files on your Documents folder using some application like File Buddy and delete them before reseting. Worked for me.

Support
Multiple HD and Users systems. The script will seek out all your drives and all your users home as well, it will backup most com.apple prefs to keep your preferences intact, but two of them will be erased (the com.apple.digihub.plist and the com.apple.internetconfig.plist).

Features
You can expand the window to make logs more readable. If you got a problem while running, the backup files are located in your home 'Documents' folder in a folder called 'iLok_reset_backup' within their full path. This folder will be erased at the very end of the process for convenience.

Quick Start
Repair your drives permissions !
Launch iTr, enter your user (must have admin rights) password and click 'reset'
When all processing is done, the reboot button will be accessible, click it.
If not, read the log. It should help you.
If you encounter a -192 error while loading your stuff, reinstall the PACE extensions.

The Advanced button...
This version introduces a new concept, customizability.

To access it click the "Advanced" button in the above left of the application window. You'll see two data column.
The first one called 'group' is here to help you, it won't affect anything. You can type whatever you want in this collumn.
The second is the really important one!
You must type the full path to the file you want to keep or remove here.
File Path must be typed like this :

/Volumes/NameOfTheVolume/NameOfFolder/NameOfFolder/FileName

It is really important to ensure your path is correct because if it is not but match another file or folder, this last one will be saved or deleted !
While you obviously can see how deleting can be bad, backing up can also be as it doesn't preserve file ressource forks!
So again know what you do!
