Does anyone know about a tool that makes it possible to read and write the Ensoniq proprietary format?

i am not on my mac right now but i believe CDXtract can read them. (it opens images without mounting them on the desktop)

I use total commander + the plugin by Thralt Franz to open images and write/copy to disk
