Hello, i'm having trouble identifying the cause of why my G3 won't display video. I should preface that i'm a bit new to PowerPC based mac hardware. I tried replacing the Rage 128 with a Radeon 7000 but it still doesn't display video at all. I'm hoping it's not a logic board issue, but I suspect it might be since i'm having an issue where the power button doesn't want to work sometimes and I have to "jumpstart" the mac using the paperclip method to start the power supply. After it boots up either way, via power button or paperclip, it "seems" to be running fine, the hard drive spins up, the fans spin up, and no error codes are beeped out. Any help is appreciated, and please let me know if any more information is needed.
EDIT: I don’t know how to lock a thread or anything but somehow I fixed my problem, I basically took the entire computer apart trying to diagnose parts and when I put everything back together it worked.. must’ve been a loose connection or something.
