Pismo G4 pram batteries
« on: April 19, 2020, 02:44:50 AM »
Hello everyone !

I am delighted to let everyone know I am on my Pismo G4 typing this. A classic and a great machine for OS 9. Two things.. Where can I get for cheap Pismo PRAM batteries for cheap, and also what wi-fi cards can be used under OS 9 ? I have the original airport card, but nothing is allowing me to connect to it, not even my iphone 7.

Thank you !

Don't you have an Airport card? My Pismo gets on Frontier here in AZ using the Airport card with no problem.

Did you find the PRAM? ebay is always a good place to start.

You say your Pismo is a G4? What processor are you using. I have been looking for another one since my G4 from Gary Day in GA 10 years ago has gone out and they don't work on them any more.

If you know of a G4 processor for Pismo available please contact me.

Hi, sorry this took awhile for me to get back with you. Seek out Dosdude - he can take a G3 board and put a G4 550 on it for cheap.. I think its like 100 or 150.00, since the original G4 processor boards are hard if not impossible to find.
