samplecell 2 and + (pci) added mulation of the filter. sample cell 1 has static filters only. big deal if you ask me.

Took a while, but finally bagged a Nubus version of the Samplecell card to run in my Q700. Closing this.

Can I ask what you paid for it?

I paid around $150 plus shipping and import fees. Unfortunately the card tested DOA, apparently something wrong with the proprietary ASIC - small chance this was something that could be easily fixed. Thankfully the seller was kind and refunded the full amount. So, I'm still on the look out a Nubus Samplell (not a PCI, as it's for a Quadra).

Are these the kinds of cards you want? I scavenged them from a dead Quadra 900.

The SampleCell cards don't keep my Quadra 700 from booting, but the Sound Accelerator II makes it hang at the "Welcome To Macintosh" stage.
