Hey Mike,
Well, I don’t know about wise?
But I’ll offer the broad (from the hip) scatter-gun approach.
Does a little BeHeirarchic icon, or anything even possibly / remotely related to “BH”… still march across the bottom of your screen at startup? I’d first begin looking for INITS, cdevs, etc… related to the now-errant software and disable (or trash) them from control panels, startup items / System folder, etcetera. Of course you might try selectively disabling anything that you suspect might be related, first… just to see how it goes before forever trashing?
AND if you’re running a dedicated OS 9-only machine, you might even be able to use Norton Utilities (shreiks heard loudly from all over the forum) and its’ “Find File” feature to seek out and eradicate all suspected remnants of BH. (Of course, you may wish to backup everything first (“out of an abundance of caution”).
I do wonder how deeply such a program might reach its’ tentacles into the very sinews of your machine. Hopefully not all that much.
Anyone else possibly have the old BH “secret code” written down somewhere… OR remember eradicating BeHeirarchic?
Or perhaps, Mike justs want to eliminate the Nag screen and not BeHeirarchic completely?
