I also rarely empty my trash unless there's an specific need. Just in case.
Employ a similar policy with paperwork too.

Sometimes wish there was an easier way to empty the trash of a specific disk only though (e.g. removeables).

Actually, I emptied 158,926 files in the end. Damn I am one hell of a "drag to the trash and forget to empty it" man. Some of the things in there go back to 2013!
