ReCycle 2.1
« on: August 22, 2019, 12:53:15 PM »
I am looking for ReCycle 2.1

My CD is lost, but I have a license number.
I contacted Propellerheads, but they have no CD anymore.
They suggested using version 2.2. It does not require a CD during installation. But I need version 2.1

There's version 2.1.2 around. That's the last one for PPC machines.
If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.

Are you saying there are functions in 2.1 that are not present in 2.1.2 ?
I find it hard to believe..

ReCycle 2.1.2 is a maintenance update that addresses a few important issues.

The changes in this release are:
* ReCycle is now compatible with Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard.
* ReCycle is now compatible with AMD64 Processors.
* Minor alterations to the authorization procedures have been made, reducing the risk of having to enter your serial number again, after installation.

ReCycle 2.1.2 is a free update for owners of ReCycle 2.1 and it is a recommended installation for all ReCycle 2.1 owners.
If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.

2.2. adds support for x64 PPC and x68 (native intel) and removed support for akai, SD2 and samplecell file formats.

the SCSI support has not been removed, but you can hear a lot of people on both platforms having problems to get it to work, which is why people often ask for 2.0 or 2.1 installs.

and btw... it is still sold by RS until today. and it is not ideal not to have a copy somewhere on an ftp for your paying customers.

I found it, 2.1 doesnt have SCSI Sample dump for OSX. 2.1 for windows does, but not OSX.

2.0 for os9 does!
