ADCMirror is live
« on: June 13, 2019, 09:42:55 PM »
http://adcmirror.oldschooldaw.com is a mirror of Developer.Apple.com resources as they were in (September 2006)
actually it might be october; just after the 10.4.8 tiger update was released. (and before 10.4.9)

ive corrected a number of issues with the informatimago mirror
(located here: http://mirror.informatimago.com/next/developer.apple.com/index.html)
and im continuing to attempt to fixi any broken links / cosmetic issues so if you'd like to report any issues please post here

the macos8/9 stuff is here:
http://adcmirror.oldschooldaw.com/macos

help me make this the most complete/functional mirror by informing me of any broken links/errors with the website

Good work.
I can report some issues:
these gives Not Found-error:
http://adcmirror.oldschooldaw.com/technotes/tn/tn2090.html
http://adcmirror.oldschooldaw.com/technotes/tn/tn2087.html
http://adcmirror.oldschooldaw.com/technotes/tn/tn2086.html
links for those pages are at end this page:

..if somebody want make OS 9 to run on G5  :)

I bought my first new Mac when OS X 10.1 released. And I bought that Mac because it had Mac OS 9 too. And I bought my first 68k Mac when Apple stopped PPC Macs.

i did a massive search + replace replacing a pathing error where some links were hardcoded to reference http://developer.apple.com - (replacing with http://adcmirror.oldschooldaw.com) - i havent uploaded all of the updated files yet as it will take about 24 hours to upload them all (there are alot of html files; about 150,000)

im pretty happy with the progress ive made in the last few days tho - i've corrected so many problems. but therse still alot of work to do. but its already a valuable reference.

im still having a few issues surrounding case sensitivity causing 404's  especially with the technotes directory
if u get a 404 on a technote try changing it to "Technote" rather than "technote" in the url

https://www.fenestrated.net/mirrors/Apple%20Technotes%20(As%20of%202002)/tn/index.html#RTFToC4
looking into using the content from this mirror to add to what ive got.. if its even neccessary; might not be
actually i notice the links are all destroyed on those files.... which sucks. hopefully the technotes are archived on the ADC cds aswell; with links + data in tact

http://adcmirror.oldschooldaw.com/sdk/
what im doing here is adding the content that was removed by apple themselves from previous versions of the same page
the links below ive just added from 2005 and ive linked them all to the existing downloads under the ftp.apple.com mirror content
wooo hooo! :) if anyone has any ADC content from 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001,
id like to get all the development SDK's at least posted from 8.6 thru to 10.4.8 is my main focus;
unfortunately that stuff is the hardest to find on google now; (for instance i cant find any of those kernel debug kits much easier to find leopard/snow leopard stuff
but im sure that stuff will begin to dry up + dissappear aswell now or at least slowly be unintentionally (or intentionally) obfuscated

as it is now there is only one or two downloads of stuff below snow leopard on the developer downloads (https://developer.apple.com/download/more/)
i wish i had archived things in the past! need a real time machine :D

I search all the technotes as a PDF. Where are they?
