Hi,
Bought a 867 MDD, installed a OWC 120Gb SSD using the Kingwin SATA to IDE Bridge. No problem. The original HDD has 10.5.5 on it, so now it boots to that and the new SSD mounts fine.
But when I try to get it to boot with the OS 9 Universal image, it doesn't recognize it. When I open the .iso file, it says "The disk image you are opening may be damaged and could damage your system". Then a DISK REPAIR box comes up and says "The disk MacOS9Lives" was not repairable by this computer. It is being made available to you with limited functionality."
Same thing with the MacOS9Lives.img within that, same error message. But I see the System Folder, Applications (OS 9), Document, etc. I copied those folders over to the drive, but it doesn't recognize it at startup. The StartUp disk app doesn't recognize it, and booting with OPTION down doesn't recognize it.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
