PPC version of SimpleText
(1/1)
OS923:
The Apple sample code contains the source code of SimpleText 1.4. This can build a PPC version of SimpleText. I tried this and it works.
OS923:
There's also a SimpleText Pro. It supports text of more than 32K. This was an abandoned project by Marco Piovanelli and Alessandro Levi Montalcini, but I tried it for some time and I wouldn't go back to SimpleText.

Good find!
IIO:
i´ve always preferred iText over simpletext pro - it has a little bug where it sometimes scrambles colors when you control documents from dreamweaver while they are also open in iText - but its main advantage is that it exists for OSX, too.
