Help! Mac Os 9 not recognize some plugins archives!

Hello! Please help!

After download one of CD with PT 5 Plugins, I can not open some archives. Mac OS - recognizet it, and show it icons with "PC" logo. I`m - newby in OS9 file types. Stuffit Expander - can not decompress it. How I can install this files? Picture - in OS9 format - is attached! Thank You!

Try a drag and drop of the offending icon with Shrinkwrap - it has less trouble with identifying content (imho)

It's a jpg but somehow it losts its extension.

This is screenshot from MAC OS9 - it is not recognized by Windows. I don`t know, unfortunelly, how I can get the screenshot in mac os9 - in jpeg, or png. I have use standart script for this, from mac action menu Speakable Items -> Take a window picture((

I dont thing so. Adobe Photoshop 14 - is not recognize it. Looke - it is dont have any header information iside the file!

Well, you did not say it was a screenshot... it is in PICT format; you can open it in Photoshop on OS 9 and save it as a JPG or convert it, all you need is here:

TDM means that it needs to be run on a pro tools TDM system - if you dont have a pro tools TDM system the plugins not going to work because it runs on the hardware. thats probably why you are having problems with it

You most likely had this stuff zipped up on a non-mac at one point in time and the file is missing some info (the creator app) so it shows it as a PC file, we have discussed this many times here, you can fix it with the following utility:

But you still need to know the correct info. which you can find from a working plugin
