Phantom 1.5ghz G4 Mac Mini wont boot 9.2.2. v7
« on: September 02, 2018, 01:56:59 AM »
So I tried many methods to boot into the 9.2.2. install disk.
Burrned with

Trans Mac

Power ISO

and IMG Burn

No luck.

Decided on transferring the files to a separate partition to boot from.

No Luck.

What am I missing here? Do I need to burn it on a mac or what?

If you can, install OS X onto the Mac mini, then burn the ISO from Disk Utility using the big burn button then selecting the ISO.

When you say no luck what exactly do you mean? Can't boot from it, or does it boot and hang, or does the Mac mini spit the CD out after you put it in. If it does spit it out, you could try a different type of CD/DVD.

Well I did it. After a little compressed air, and going through the clunky Disk Utility in Tiger, I was finally on my way to some classic computing....

That was untill my arduino adapter used to convert M0100A to a usb threw up a "Arduino Micro is an unknown device." BS, while the 128K Keyboard to usb works fine.

*Sigh*

Another forum to make.

Thank you so much for the help!
