Latest Compatible Reason

My main machine just broke, and now i'm only left with my 2 mac : iBook G3/900 14-Inch (Early 2003 - Op) running 10.4.11 and PowerBook G4 1.67 17" (DLSD/HR - Al) running 10.5.8. Since i've got my license on a ignition key, what is the latest reason that i can use on these Macs?

i would guess its reason v3 that would be the version u would want to run on the g3 900
and possibly reason v4 on the tiger 10.4.11 machine

You are right. But in my defense After looking a bit deeper in this forum and reading oldschooldaw i opted to ho back to 9.2.2 on the iBook (with the iso offered in this forum) and Reason 2.5. I'm having such good performance that this machine could become my main Workstation for midi

ableton live 4.14 + reason 2.5 work great together!
 
its like the only combo where rewire really works as it should in my experience
its a great machine for what u are using it for.. the ibook g3 900
im jealous id like to have one of those laptops!

I don't have much experience with old Mac and PPC. I got those recently from a guy who was trashing them. But for what concerns stability and performance I'm noticing that they are rock solid! The only limitation is no audio in reason, but i'm looking to buy an old recycle license and work my way with that
