I was going to get LightBulbFun or dosdude to bake a 7448 on my Mini, whenever that mange to get such a thing to work.

The trouble will be finding the mpc7448, Mouser has one 1.7Ghz in stock, but we're talking $400+.

Really hoping to come across a 2Ghz one, leave a little head room for upping the VCore and Clock speed.

I have a Dual 1.6 in one of my Quicksilvers. But i don't know if it is a Newertech. I'll have a look when i got home. It could also be a dual 1.8 underclocked. I had to cut a hole into the Quicksilver for better cooling.

But it has a different cooler and 80mm Fan. Runs at 1.6 Ghz but i bought it as 1.8 Ghz. Did not checked if it is a 1.6 or under clocked 1.8. Is still needed, i could make some pictures.

I have also printed manual and a copied CD whit it. Although i was not able to find it so fast.

Double the L2 cache 1MB vs 512k.

I think it had a little lower vMax, 1.4v or so, but it could also lower it's clock frequency by Quad, rather than just 2x like the 7447a/b.

Tho there would likely not be any support for that in the Mac OS power management, as no 7448 ever shipped in a Mac.

Lowering the cpu clock, without lowing the voltage doesn't gain a lot anyway, my 7447's seem to run 5 C cooler when the power is set to reduced. There just is not support for voltage skewing in any G4 that I'm aware of, we can only find the resisters that set the vCore and lower it.
