Absolutely! SAS drives. Each 5 1/4 place can house four 2.5" SAS drives.
The back should be modified by my car body shop mechanic, they are ∞ cheaper here than in Germany or US of A.
Two SAS connectors instead of the old SCSI. There is probably no need for the backplane.

All this has some bad side-effects: some people drive here like crazy donkeys and do not care about fender-bender because the consequences are not that expensive.

So if you want something good what also has four wheels - you go back and bring a spanking new car from the U.S.
Done that four times already. Because there is no single car here with good body and without "adjusted" mileage. Duh.

But the benefit is that I can ask the body shop to help me with computer case modding. Have one Xserve RAID waiting for body shop.

Your wish, Sir!

Will skip on this one. The delivery charge being $80.33 plus the 27% of sales tax on top of 48 + 80.33 is $163.
To bad, my LTO-6 drive would look of course pretty nice inside.

If it would show up somewhere closer to me, $48 is not bad. But the modification for the LTO-6 drive is not trivial, indeed, I would have to ask the car body shop.
