G3 B & W Rev 2
« on: March 08, 2018, 04:07:55 PM »
OK, no offense, I'm not being funny and  I am new to this forum and there are Wiser Heads but ...

Why no machine-specific threads or main headers ???

My interest is mainly G3 runnng Cubase VST and Premiere 6 and I would like to see just how much I can get from my G3.

But I have to trawl through countless threads to find informaton relevant to my own interest.

Don't get me wrong. I have found out many valuable ideas which I am adapting for my own partcular use,

but it has taken forever (gross exaggeration, 3 weeks), there is still much to find out and I really feel that it would be useful for ALL users, if the forum had separate headers for each machine.

ie g3, g3 B&W (rev.1, 2) , G4 graphite, MDD, Quicksilver etc.

I'm very happy to start a G3 upgrade-specific header/thread, not just moan about it ...

A sincere thanks to you!

To re-phrase the underlying basic quest here: Seeking a possible low-cost DAW pathway
(or guidance), to a simple one track (to a possible, occasional two-track), DAW recording
route, utilizing a 400 MHz Rev. B (2) B&W G3
. No frills per-se, yet firm-functional…
for someone located in zee UK.

K.I.S.S. (for those of you that may remember and for those that should respond).
Please refrain from simply “throwing money” at the problem. Low-low cost parameters please.
Petros90 may still be investigating his M-Audiophile.
