WANTED: Spectrasonics Atmosphere for Mac OS9
« on: September 09, 2017, 09:51:20 PM »
Hi MacOS9Lives Community!

I've been searching for a copy of Spectrasonics Atmosphere for Mac OS9 over the past few months (considering it's one of the best VSTs for Mac OS9, I'm surprised there haven't been much discussion about Atmosphere in these forums, or posts in the VST download sections...or maybe I just missed it). As an Omnisphere / Trillian / Keyscape license holder, I wrote to Spectrasonics, asking them if I could still purchase a license for this rare but excellent VST. Unfortunately, they no longer distribute or support it, according to them. I've searched in many places, including Ebay and other online stores to no avail. I'm hoping someone from this community would be able to know where I can get a hold of one.

Thanks!

Sincerely,
Judicator.exe

@macStuff:

I have not talked to him directly, but I did write to their tech shop and received a reply stating "The legacy instruments (Stylus, Atmosphere and Trilogy) are no longer available, unless you can find one somewhere on the used market..." I don't think I have enough "connections" to be able to talk to the main man himself lol

I found a copy with keygen etc. but it looks like that there is a installation problem going on with at least one of the CDs which makes the whole thing unusable for the moment. - Does anybody have the atmosphere.dat around (which contains all the soundfiles) ?
