Does anyone have recommendations?
Here's a list of books I've considered:
1) Pro Tools for Music Production - 5.1 edition (Mike Collins)
2) Pro Tools 5 (Steven Roback)
3) The Musician's Guide to Pro Tools (First Edition)
4) Pro Tools 101: Introduction to Pro Tools (2nd Edition)
5) The Complete Pro Tools Handbook
6) Producing in the Home Studio with Pro Tools
7) Pro Tools LE and M-Powered: The Complete Guide
If anyone has read any of these books, which was the most helpful? A little background: I have a G4 with an Audiomedia 3 and an Emax SE keyboard that was given to me. Also have a copy of Vision DSP 4.2. I was able to install LE32 and the Digi Control Panel, but have no experience whatsoever with this kind of thing. Basically, what I want to do is use the Emax in Vision DSP for midi stuff and integrate it with LE. Side note: I've not used Vision DSP because I don't have a SuperDisk drive at the moment, but have read that a uDrive or SuperDisk can validate the floppy key.
