Some Mac OS 9 inspired artwork I made
« on: May 11, 2017, 06:56:46 AM »
I started making some alternative logos for the Classic Mac I dubbed "Mal OS" (since the McIntosh Apple's latin name is Malus domestica)

I thought I'd share them here.
First I just defaced the old mac logo and swapped the colors.
For my second attempt, I changed the defacing to a cross pattern and changed the font.
For my third attempt, I changed the cross to a stylized 9.

Any criticism is welcome  ;)

OK : ;D
#1 "Mal" means Bad and Devil in spanish and other latin languages, is the last word I'll use for anything.
#2 Sorry but the colors are really ugly ... IMHO  ;D

The first criticism I had already received when I showed it to my girlfriend, guess I'm a bit too stubborn.
Not surprised by the second one, I'm just messing around with GIMP in my spare time, I don't think I'll catch up to Apple's design soon   ;D

I'm pretty sure I had MalOS on the first G4 I ever bought.
