So the idea is to use XMPP (Jabber) as a gateway to newer IM protocols and it's working well, but needs more testing. Right now I'm able to use Facebook chat, Skype, ICQ and AIM at the same time in TVJab on my MDD in Mac OS 9.2.2.

Which IM protocols do you guys use? I want to add everything that people still use, to breath some new life into our old machines :)

Allright! Adding it. So now we have support for Facebook chat, Skype, AIM, ICQ and Gadu-Gadu.

eastone: Would you be interested in trying out Gadu-Gadu support? I don't have an account, so I can't try it out.

Adding WhatsApp IM support as well. Yes, it's that application you use in OS9. Connected to the server I'm working on setting up :)
