nope. cant make my head around this.
different drivers produce slightly different pops & clicks though..consider layers of these evolve into a unique genre: delta music >:(
im gonna get myself a digi 001. thanks anyway.

sounds like your card is either buggered or you have some type of undiagnosed issue (bad clock?) because my deltas (4 x delta 1010LT, 8 x delta 410) do not have any problems. either way the drivers are now archived here publicly for those who have a working card + no compatibility issues

best of luck with your future projects

if it were my problem i would be looking to use SPDIF to slave clock/sync from another master clock and go from there, given all the options for an audio interface, the audiophile doesnt really compete with much, after all, 2 analog + 2 digital = ? 4 channels of a pretty basic setup. not really at the top of hte list for those of us interested in affordable multitracking, which for me, is the primary basis for my interest.

if you like PT anyway I'd buy into a small TDM rig instead. While expense is a bit higher, the sound will be a huge step up. Seriously - I'm very picky in this context, but imh ears this abandonware (still) outperforms most native stuff, is at least on par with current UAD releases and in many cases comes out more 'musically'.
Imho this 'it's all just numbers' is a big misunderstanding. The M56k DSPs have their very special soundprint (if programmed properly) - which is NOT always the case.

In my own installation the longest part was crosschecking which plugins are worth keeping.
The ones that made the grade were the Virus synth, all Bombfactories, all Wavemechanics, RealVerb, Lexiverb, TC Mega Reverb, the Drawmer Dynamics bundle, Antares Mic-Modeller (it blurs a bit which is often a cool feature with cheap condensor mics or to grease a synth), Line6 Echo Farm, TC Electronics Sat Eq, Digidesign Maxim for final loudness - not perfect, but does the job for reasonable levels. Waves isn't worth the effort imho.
