Clearing out stuff. Machines for sale.
« on: January 24, 2017, 08:32:33 PM »
I'm parting ways with some machines that I don't really use.
There may be more coming, but for now here is the list.
Price in US Dollars. You pay shipping. Will consider all offers.

PowerMac G4 AGP $150
450 Mhz G4
1.25 GB RAM
120 GB Hard Drive
Zip 100 Drive
DVD ROM
Radeon 7500

PowerMac G4 AGP 4 $125
450 Mhz G4
1 GB RAM
40 GB Hard Drive
Zip 100 Drive
Rage 128Pro

Xserve  $300
Dual Quad Core (8 Cores total) 3.0 Ghz Xeon
8 GB RAM
2 80 GB drives
DVD ROM

I also have an old PowerPC Performa. I think it's a 6200CD, but I don't really want to go look.
I know it has 24 MB of RAM and a Hard Drive.  Not sure the size. If you're interested, I can turn it on and check.  Free if you pay to ship it.

If you have questions or need more details on any of these, don't be afraid to ask.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it, or break it so you can fix it!

Will trade any of these for a clamshell iBook with firewire or at least a mother board for one.

XServe $200.

Dear Nanopico,

Sounds good. Could you please do that for me?
What should be done to let the Performa run on European power supply system? (230V 50Hz)
I'd also be interested in the OS and the OS's language it's running.
I'll be happy about further info!

I will take a look at it this evening.  I know the OS language is english (though you could install it with whatever you want) and I wouldn't know anything about getting it to work on a European power supply system.

nano look at the back if it got that red switch from 110 to 220 or 230 i believe. all he needs is a standard power cord over there and that it. you dont need to bother shipping your us power cord its useless

No it does not have a switch.

Canned Brain here are the specs
http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/mac_performa/specs/mac_performa_6200cd.html

The one I have is currently running 7.5.1 English.
It has 40 MB of RAM
Hard drive has been upgraded to 3 GB
An Ethernet card has been added to the PDS slot.  Worked last time I used it about 8 months ago. (the computer hasn't been used since then)
It does have the AV in as well.

Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse not included.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it, or break it so you can fix it!

I guess we need to read the manual if it switches automatically when you plug in a European cord.

A bit of searching the interwebs.  It appears that almost all Apple power supply's are auto switching so it should work on 220, but I can not verify that as I am not in Europe.

The two G4's aren't available at the moment.
There are some issues with them, and I'm trying to shuffle things around so they will work.
If you want them not working, free if you pay shipping. By not working I mean no RAM, HD and may or may not have an optical disk.
