How do you make curser "run" with waveform?
« on: November 13, 2016, 09:01:07 AM »
Hi all, I'm a dyed in the wool Logic user since 4.0, but since I resurrected a Digi001 courtesy one of the users in here I decided today to convert some old tapes to digital and use Pro Tools 5.1.1

In logic, I click the icon of the running man & the cursor is always central, with the waveform scrolling along as you record/play.

I know I'm being a bit lazy, but how do you do that in PT LE 5.1.1?

Many thanks!

it is not present in any LE version - up to the lastest PT.

Shock!  Horror!

Really?  I can't work properly unless I have that function!

Oh well, back to Logic 4.8.1 then!

i was always fine with page by page scrolling mode (cubase), the little graphics power you have on OS9 machines should be left for plug-ins (and especially peak metering)
